We are very excited to welcome the exceptionally talented Alvaro Picardo, Alvaro’s work is featured in World of Interiors, House & Garden, Elle Decoration, to name but a few.
He works with leading interior designers such as Sybil Colefax, Studio Reed, Studio Atkinson Buchanan Studio, Max Rollit and Douglas Mackie.
 
Join us for an immersive day-long workshop to master the art of hand-painting a lampshade. This course is completely hands on, whilst Alvaro will guide you, you will be creating the shade yourself using some pre-planned designs which are relatively easy to follow
 
We will provide you with a paintbrush, and measuring tape. Please bring an old card lampshade you’d like to transform - if you don’t have your own lampshade we can provide one, handmade in London and available at the cost price of £25. If you have a particular colour in mind then do bring your own sample pot, otherwise we will have some sample pots here for you to choose from.
